# Task router

Call `jev_route_task` or `POST https://jevai.ai/api/v1/decisions/route` when a task is ambiguous or risky and you have not started the expensive path.

Send `task`, plus `context` and `stakes` when you have them.

Read `answers.route.choice`:

- `proceed_fast` — a direct path is enough
- `deep_review` — use a slower check before acting
- `split_task` — break it into smaller decisions first
- `block` — do not proceed

If `answers.route.confidence` is below the product threshold, treat it as `deep_review` rather than guessing.
